I've been studying almost everyday with Totale V. 4 since early January (today is 4/10/12) and one crucial technical problem has severely detracted from the experience. A strong enticement for purchasing the course were the live studio sessions. However every time I'd tried to join the sessions, echoes and sound distortion have prevented me from participating and several attempts to remedy the situation involving long calls to tech support have not resolved the issue.

While I've found some progress in vocabulary and pronunciation. The lack of clear grammatical explanation undermines my efforts at acquiring a thorough grasp on how the language is actually spoken when not in front of the computer. Reading has been strongly aided, but without the application in front of me I find disproportionately little progress in constructing grammatically correct sentences. Content is also lacking given the cost of this course. At present I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase Rosetta Stone.
