I have taken Italian 1 and 2, and it is exactly what was written above "learn a lot of simple words but cannot speak". Also it is very easy to pass through the process of elimination; therefore you never really learn the language. Also I have studied Child Development, and anyone who knows about children's development knows that the brain synapses that are unconnected during the time from birth through age 7 is what allows children to learn languages so freely, but when these synapses close around age 7, we learn languages through wrote memorization instead (process it into our long term memory). So I find it commical how Rosetta claims you "learn like an infant/child".
